Fund Development Director
Reports to: Executive Director
Position: 26 hours per work week
The Fund Development Director will drive the creation and implementation of an annual, diversified fundraising plan for Circle Theatre. The position will work closely and collaboratively with the Executive Director and other fundraising volunteers to identify, cultivate, steward donors, and solicit charitable gifts. The Fund Development Director is responsible for instituting and overseeing policies, processes and structure for the ongoing administrative functioning of the organization’s fundraising including ensuring that it operates using development best practices for non-profit entities.
Overview of Primary Responsibilities:

Create an annual development plan that supports the organization’s strategic plan and budget. The plan should include strategies for specific donor segments (individual, foundation, and corporate). The plan should include: Mix of donor type, timelines, measurable activities and resources required.

Track, monitor and proactively report to the Executive Director on the implementation and progress of the development plan.

Cultivate and nurture relationships with current and prospective donors – foundations, individuals and corporations. As a goal, have 10 individual and/or corporate meetings per month.

Help write grant proposals and reports to corporate, foundations and government funders.

Manage the organization’s development systems, i.e., data acquisition and analysis, gift processing, prospect and solicitation tracking, etc., to ensure the integrity and functionality of the donor database.

Maintain database and records management. Maintain security and quality controls. Generate queries, reports, exports and any other collection data as needed. Manage any related vendors.

Other duties as assigned by the Executive Director.
Schedule & Salary

The Fund Development Director will work within the office hours of 10:00am - 4:00pm, Tuesday through Friday.

35k - 45k/year depending on experience

Box Office + Administration
In this internship you will learn basic box office duties, house management, and customer service skills. All dates and times are subject to change based on run time of the show. Scheduling will be determined based on Circle's need and your availability. This internship pays $25/shift with up to four shifts per weekend.Responsibilities for this internship include prepping tickets for shows, working the Will Call window, assisting customers with the elevator, light cleaning duties, assisting with admin projects when needed, and ushering. Business professional attire is requested.
